Homemade meat ball question?

In today’s society you can buy large boxes of meat balls as a convenience, and growing up that’s what my family did. I however like to make my own food, get creative, and do it for a lesser price. That being said I have a recipe for Rachael Ray’s Italian Egg drop soup. If you don’t know the recipe it does not keep you from being able to answer my question, please continue. In the recipe you make small meatballs from ground turkey and drop them in the boiling Chicken broth you’re using. Here is my question. I’m going to make small Beef Meatballs as an appetizer type dish, and I was going to put them in a dry garlic sauce. So to cook them would you recommend putting them in the sauce to cook? Or perhaps Boiling them in a beef broth, heating up the sauce and just putting them in to coat?

Actually what I would do is bake them. I definitely would not put them in the sauce to cook because all the grease would transfer to the sauce. You can boil them if you like but i prefer baking.
